The students will actively participate in the operations of the placement cell from the date of their joining the institute. Domestic as well as overseas companies are the targets of the placement cell. Summer Placement - 'Earn While You Learn', and final placement are the target activities of the placement cell. Summer Internship

The summer internship of 8-10 weeks aims to widen the student's perspective by providing an exposure to organizations and real life environmental situations. This in turn helps organizations to build a long term relationship with the student community.

Campus Recruitment

The campus recruitment aims to meet the increasing demands of the business houses. The process takes place in the month of December wherein the companies from diverse sectors evaluate the students before committing to a permanent hire. SKFGI assures 100% placement guarantee to all students based on their merit.

Placement through Corporate Mentor

Placement is just one facet of the interface between SKFGI and the Industry, and we strongly believe that a far stronger and mutually beneficial relationship exists between the two. It is our endeavor to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the students and the industry, thereby using mutual learning as the foundation of a fruitful relationship. This exchange is brought about through various interactive forums, such as organizing seminar/workshop/interaction by students through various clubs inviting corporate on each Saturday, giving each student one corporate mentor from the day of joining the Institute, introducing Corporate Scholarship for the meritorious students of the class are among few activities of our Placement Cell. From interaction sessions students will get a practical perspective on the theoretical concepts learnt in class; and industry stalwarts gaining fresher perspectives and newer ideas.

It is our endeavor to provide students with maximum exposure to the real and current industry scenario, we undertake various programmes under the Corporate Interaction Initiative. This provides an opportunity to the students to experience the working environment of the industry and the industry to look at the fresh pool of immense talent at SKFGI and thus, a fresh perspective.
