The College is about half an hour's drive from the Kolkata Air Port and about 35 Km from the heart of the city of Kolkata. Mankundu is a small suburb town under greater Kolkata. Mankundu situated in Latitude:
22o 50' N & Longitude: 88o 22' E. It is served by a railway station by its own name in Howrah-Bandel-Burdwan main line section with frequent train services. It is adjacent to Chandannagar, situated along the banks of river Ganga, founded in 1673 by the French East India Comnpany, in the state of West Bengal, 32 Km north of Kolkata the culturally famous spot of west Bengal. Unlike the rest of India which had been a British colony for two hundred years, Chandannagar was ruled by France. Its unique cultural heritage and geographical location was a must-see on the agenda of the foreign travellers: British, Danish French, Belgians and Germans. |
