The State-of-the-art library acts as learning resource center with complete focus on Engineering and Management subjects under WBUT syllabus; it is situated in the heart of academic complex of the institution. Our library is accommodated in the ground floor of total 650 sq. meter of carpet area with full of modern and technologically advanced amenities. The library is primarily designed to meet the requirements of the academic programme of WBUT. It has a collection of 1800 titles and 25000 volumes. It subscribes to 185 numbers online IEEE and other journals and provides access to IEEE online database. Functions and services of the library are fully computerized. Our library has also State-of-the-art digital library facility. Besides general lending, students are also entitled to access books from the Book Bank for the whole semester. It has a well maintained stock of CD-ROM, DVD, projects Reports, Thesis and the like.
Students are given the access to fully automated circulation facilities through LIBSYS software package, an integrated multiuser library system, which supports all the above operation in the library. All the departments in our institution are interconnected through LAN. In order to promote awareness about the library among the users, the library organizes exhibition on various subjects on a regular interval. The library timing is from 9 am to 8 pm in all working days.
