Introduction

The Department of Electrical Engineering at SKFGI started its operation along with the journey of SKFGI in the year 2009. Since inception, the Department has played an important pivotal role for developing the academic standard and the facilities provided to the students. The laboratories are well equipped and highest consideration was provided for safety and hazard of the student operator. Power supply is at 110v for this purpose and according to Washington Accord. Students regularly participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities like Debate, Group Discussion, Quiz, NSS activities, Technical club activities, Robotics modeling, Seminar etc. Electrical engineering students continually make breakthroughs that enable them to communicate more easily, manage their environments more effectively, and lead better comfortable lives than ever before. Educational programs have been at the cutting edge since its inception. Care is taken for better attendance, regularity in home assignments, and good score in internal tests. We provide an in-depth education in engineering principles built on mathematics, computation, and the physical and life sciences, and encourage our students to apply what they learn through projects, internships, and research. We succeed in our mission to produce graduates capable of taking leadership positions in the fields of electrical engineering.

Increased Demand of electrical Engineering has forced us to increase seats from 60 to 120 since 2010. We march forward technically and academically. We have commissioned laboratories as per the AICTE norms and as per the curriculum of the affiliating University with a high standard of equipments and performance.

All faculties are qualified as per the AICTE norms and three of them are engaged in research work leading to Ph.D Degree. They are also members of professional societies.

Program

Department offers 4 years bachelor degree and 2 years masters in Electrical Engineering.
